What Makes a Good Place to Die and Why?

Hosted by local charity Time to Talk Befriending. We invite you to join us for a facilitated conversation based on this years Dying Matters Week theme of: 'A good place to die'.

The conversation will be based on what participants feel would make a place, a good place to die, and why.   Whether you have thought about this before, or whether this is completely new to you, we would like you to share your thoughts and feelings to help all of us understand what it takes for a place to be good in which to die.  Talking about these issues can raise issues that can be emotional as well as being profound.  Participants will be advised to share as much as they wish and to be kind to themselves in what they share.

The conversation will be facilitated by Peter Wells who is a Brighton based psychotherapist, and formerly lead chaplain at the Royal Sussex County Hospital.  Peter will collate the responses and resources shared which will be made available to those who attend

The event is going to be delivered via Zoom and is free to attend. Please email info@tttb.org.uk to book your place (on a first come first served basis). RSVP no later than Friday 7th May by midday. Further event details including the Zoom link will be sent via email to attendees on Monday 10th May 2021.
